Dangerous Goods Health and Safety Awareness Course
One Day Safety Course 'In House' or 'Off Site'
Especially created for companies that are below the threshold for full compliance with the dangerous goods regulations
Drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods outside the scope of the regulations are still required under the ADR Regulations to complete health and safety training relating to the goods being carried. This training must be documented and periodically repeated. The Freightsafe "1 Day Dangerous Goods Awareness Course" satisfies this part of the regulations.
The Freightsafe one day "Dangerous Goods Health and Safety Awareness Course" covers the following key areas:
- The scope of the regulations
- The classes of dangerous goods and associated hazards
- Typical examples of each class
- The labelling of packages
- Packing groups
- Load paperwork
- Definitions and terminology associated with dangerous goods
After the course all delegates complete a short examination and a certificate is issued to confirm a satisfactory understanding of the key issues.
This course is usually presented "In House" at customers own premises. We will arrange "Off Site" courses if required.
